Payment: Once you have selected the desired property, we will reserve the home in your name for the dates
you request. When a reservation is made a confirmation will be sent to you by regular mail. Your rental
money is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. All rentals are subject to local and State sales tax if less than
30 days. We do not accept VISA, MasterCard or any other credit card. Personal checks are accepted.
If your reservation is less than 10 days before arrival we require a money order for the rental amount.

We will mail your Rental Agreement to you. Please read the agreement carefully, confirm arrival and departure
dates, sign the one copy and return it within the 10 day period. We hold the person whose name appears on
the lease responsible for any payments, damage deposits, and all other responsibilities on the license
agreement.

Methods Of Payment We Accept: We gladly accept personal checks and money orders.

Check In: You may check in any time after 3:00pm. Since we are expecting you, the door will be open and
your key will be on th table. Since we do not know which ferry you will be able to take in order to arrive at
your vacation home, we feel this is the most convenient way for us to get your key to you.

Please be sure to print out the map on our "Getting Here" page. The map will show you how to get here and
has our address as well as our phone number should you need to reach us.

Check Out: In order for us to prepare for the next guests to check in, we ask that you check out no later than
10:00am. Please leave your keys on the kitchen counter. THANK YOU!

Security Deposit: We no longer take security deposits, but you are subject to being charged for the
following:

Damage: Any damage to the premises, grounds or furnishings and any loss due to theft.

Cleaning: We ask that you please wash the dishes and return them to the cabinets and put any trash you have in the containers provided for disposal of trash.

We will do the laundry and it is not necessary for you to make any of the beds you have used. We only ask that you PLEASE strip the beds so that we are able to see which ones will need our attention. THANK YOU!

You will be charged for any cleaning we do which is considered to be in excess of normal cleaning.

Use of Premises: Unauthorized occupants sleeping on the property will result in being charged extra. Day guests will be charged if not cleared first. We base our rates upon an agreed upon number of guests. If you find you have unexpected persons accompanying you on your island visit, please let us know in advance. You are liable for any extra guests. The premises are for our paying guests only. If you plan a picnic or party using our property please clear with us first.

Anyone who is NOT a paying guest will NOT be permitted to stay over night with you. We are very strict about this policy. If you show up with extra guests you WILL be asked to pay for them or they will be asked to leave. It is also not permitted for your overnight guests sleep on any boat at our dock. We ask that you respect our policy on this and thank you for not bring overnight guests who will not be paying, to stay with you.

We are a self-sufficient vacation rental, there is no daily housekeeping. Additional linens can be provided upon request. There are no extra linens for more than the paying guests.

Pets: No pets are allowed. If pets are found on the premises you will be charged a cleaning fee. This applies to pets of visitors as well. Animal care is available on the island. We are very strict on this so please do not ask. We love pets but some of our guests have allergies that do not allow them to enjoy properties where pets have been.

Refunds: We understand that sometimes it is necessary to change or cancel a reservation. Prior to 30 days of arrival date, any changes to a reservation could be assessed a $75.00 administration fee. Cancellations are subject to $75.00 fee. Notice must be submitted in writing (fax, mail or e-mail) .

In the event that the lease must be cancelled by the leaseholder less than 30 days before stay, leaseholder agrees to pay for one night's lodging if the property is not re-rented. We make every effort to re-lease as soon as we know of a vacancy. Any cancellations made less than 14 days before your arrival date will forfeit lease money for dates we are unable to re-lease regardless of reason.

No refund for shorten stays unless we can re-lease. We will make every effort to re-lease the reserved property.

Smoking: Is not permitted indoors. Please feel free to smoke in "Smoking Permitted" areas, outside.

Minimum stay: Three nights in the Captain's Quarters and Two Nights in the studio's. Sometimes we have"odd" nights available in the studio's ..so just ask if you see an opening.

Children: We love children, but our accommodations for children are limited. Please make arrangements with us in advance for children twelve and under. Children over 12 are welcome with close supervision. However, children must not be allowed outside without supervision due to the high-bank waterfront. Children count as adults and are charged the adult rate.

Parking: Limited street parking is available. Friday Harbor Lights is located just two blocks from the ferry landing and town, close enough that you can leave your car on the mainland and walk on the ferry. We are located on Warbass Way which is a one way street. Please take notice that you do not come in the wrong way.

Boat Dock: Our private deep-water dock is 40 feet long. There is no charge for docking for guests but reservations must be made in advance. Electrical (30 amp) hook-up and water hook-up are available at $20 dollars per day.

No overnight guests may sleep on any boat. There is no charge for just tying up your boat, but we must know in advance because we only have one side of the dock available for guest boats.

Firewood: Firewood is available for units with fireplaces.

Provisions: We provide just about everything for basic housekeeping. We provide Coffee and Tea and basic condiments. We do no provide any food. We are a vacation rental and not a bed & breakfast. You will need to bring your own personal toiletries. We are a self-sufficient vacation rental, there is no daily housekeeping.
